Rick White MSc. Managing Partner

Rick White has been in executive search for the past fifteen years; he established Dunleavy White in 2010 to offer a more insightful approach to the executive search process. Previously Rick was a Partner at Howgate Sable, the senior level international executive search consultancy based in London.

Rick manages assignments across a number of sectors including aviation, travel, leisure, renewable/cleantech, manufacturing, oil & gas and healthcare. A qualified Psychotherapist with a Masters degree in Psychology from the University of London, Rick utilises this psychological insight in the selection of candidates to ensure that they not only have the desired attributes for the role, but they also match the culture and outlook of the client organisation.

Iain Fenton Partner

Iain was previously a Sales & Marketing Director in the leisure travel industry and spent twelve years at Board/Senior level with extensive experience in managing high performance teams and numerous revered specialist brands.

Since joining Dunleavy White, Iain has successfully completed senior assignments within the TMC, Media, Digital/E-commerce & Leisure sectors on a retained basis whilst also offering a hands-on consultancy solution across the Aviation, Retail, Transport, Travel, FMCG and Healthcare sectors.

Cedric Scherer Partner – UAE

Cedric brings a wealth of knowledge of both The Middle East and the organisations in the region. He is very well connected at senior level and having lived in the Middle East for most of his life, cultural understanding was a skill developed early on, along with studying six languages covering French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Arabic and some Japanese.

An early career in the hotel food and beverage industry after studying hotel management in Lausanne, led him to Arabian Adventures, the Emirates owned destination management company, where he worked for 15 years and held several significant roles within operations in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Cedric finally assumed responsibility for driving sales and business development from key European, Russian, CIS and GCC source markets delivering business to the United Arab Emirates based hotels.

Cedric Scherer Partner – UAE

John, is a graduate of the University of York and has held senior positions with a number of airlines including British Caledonian, British Airways, KLM uk and Buzz.  John was instrumental in the decision by KLM to establish the low cost operator Buzz and in its selection of new routes. His 30 years of experience have exposed him to the business models of regional, global, legacy and low cost carriers.

John has worked a growing range of airlines and airports as well as a number of clients from other sectors whose businesses require insight on and advisory services concerning their interface with the air transport sector. Panel discussions and one to one executive interviews, for which senior speakers are recruited, are devised and run for conference and event organisers Media work is undertaken for numerous global media organisations including the BBC, CNN, Reuters, Sky, Al Jazeera, ABC Australia and business specialists Bloomberg and CNBC. John also contributes to a wide range of respected written publications including the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal/Dow Jones Newswires, Business Week, The Daily Telegraph, The Guardian, Gulf News, USA Today and the Chicago Tribune.
